The PTS Syndicate EPM-1 Magazine is constructed from Dupont Zytel Polymer, which feels amazing in the hands and makes it incredibly tough. The external shell has lots of texturing to make it ergonomic and easy to handle, especially when using gloves. A 'Magwell Guide' shape on the front of the Magazine helps it seat perfectly into your replica, and ensures the best fit across a huge range of brands. The baseplate of the EPM-1 has been redesigned to make it easier to use and significantly slimmer than before, easily sliding off the base of the Magazine and allowing you access to the internals. The Baseplate design allows you to use your Magazine as a 'Monopod' and also offers great protection, allowing you to carelessly mag-flip these bad-boys around without a worry.

The Magazine Follower has also seen a redesign as a result of collaboration with 'Deranged Designs'. This new Follower offers central pressure to BBs in the stack, and prevents sideways motion that would cause a typical Mid-Cap Magazine to jam. This and the high-efficiency compression spring also assists BB feeding speed and consistency, which makes this a great choice for High Rate of Fire (DSG) builds.

Another new feature of the EPM-1 Magazine is the 'Fuel Gauge Window' that allows you to see the approximate capacity remaining in the Mag. A bright Orange Level-Indicator allows you to easily see, at a glance, how many BBs are remaining. As you use your Magazine, this indicator will sink to the bottom of the Magazine, indicating when it is time for a reload.

As with the previous EPM Magazines, this design is hugely compatible with a wide range of brands, offering their excellent feeding performance to anyone who needs it. PTS state that the EPM-1 is compatible with Tokyo Marui, G&P and PTS branded AR Platform Rifles, as well as PTS ERG AR-15s, PTS Masada AEGs, PTS PDR-C AEGs, VFC AR/416, CA AR/416 and Amoeba AM Variant AEGs.

Special Instructions

The manufacturer recommends that modification is made to the Clutch of ODIN M12 Speedloaders before their use with this Magazine. We recommend 'bedding in' the Magazine by loading it first with a traditional handheld Speedloader to loosen up the mechanism, before attempting to fully load it using only an ODIN Speedloader.
