The SMC9 is G&G's take, based on their fantastic GTP9 pistol with its innovative HOP-up adjustment system and "high whirl valve" which reduces the cooldown effect for a seriously snappy cyclic rate and consistent and accurate follow-up shots. If you need something to keep the speedsofters at bay in CQB the SMC9 will give you your best chance!
The G&G SMC9 was designed based on carbine kits for pistols seen on the US civilian market which intend to marry the compact size and concealability of a pistol with the added stability and accuracy of a stock to create what is effectively an SMG, providing longer effective range while keeping the compact CQB friendly design aspects.
Please note the European version of the RIF operates best on high performance gas Like nurpol 4.0 and guarder power up gas. With the new internal system, some green gas can produce an FPS over 350 meaning it will not be suitable for skirmish games. We recommend consulting the staff at your local site before bringing the SMC9 into a skirmish.
It is essential that the HOP-up is at least slightly on with this RIF to improve consistency, as is the case with most GBB pistols.
When rebuilding the gun after splitting the lower and upper for cleaning make sure the hammer is down or it will get in the way. Simply push it down until it clicks, then rebuild the gun.
If you go to remove the flash hider please ensure you first unscrew the grub screw which secures the flash hider in place. Do not try and force the flash hider off or you can cause damage to the threads.
This gun performs best in semi auto or short bursts any more than 4-5 rounds fired at once cause an extreme loss of range due to the cool-down effect.
The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
