The batteries found in Nuprols "NP POWER" range have been specifically designed to support the hobby-enthusiast sectors that include Airsoft, RC Models & UAVs.
With well over 100 variants in the range from small 300mAh HPA batteries through to the massive multi-rotor UAV 16,000mAh power houses, all batteries utilise modern battery-cell technology and undergo excessive quality-control checks to deliver first-class performance time and again.
As battery technologies evolve, industries slowly transition to the newer, more improved options. As LiPo batteries replaced NiMh batteries in hobbyist industries, Li-Ion sets itself as a contender to be the new "top-dog". Li-Ion, like LiPo batteries have a very high energy density but have a few extra features to their favour.
Li-Ion batteries are much less prone to failure than their LiPo counterparts and can undergo approximately twice as many charge cycles to extend the life of the battery. A very low self-discharge rate allows them to be stored for long times with minimal loss of charge and Li-Ions are not subject to the "memory effect", whereby rechargeable batteries lose their potential "max capacity" when not charged to full-capacity.
It is for all of these reasons that Li-Ion batteries have been adopted by industry juggernauts in Consumer Electronics, Electric Vehicles, Computing and more...
